Whatsapp is the most popular social media platform. With many new features Whatsapp has come up with its latest feature available to beta testers on iOS and Android phones. With this new feature, whatsapp has enabled viewing status updates within chats. Whatsapp has released this new feature to retrieve messages deleted by mistake. It is similar to the “undo” button. All these enhancements came after the platform announced working on an ability to block screenshots of view once videos and images.
This feature was earlier enabled for Android beta users. The feature which was under development on iOS is rolling out officially to beta testers. According to the WEBertaInfo screenshot, whatsapp users can now view the status update within their chat. However, if the status updates are mute, it would not show up within the chatlist.
This new feature of whatsapp is currently available to some beta users and will soon be implemented to everyone says WABetaInfo. As a result of this new feature, if anyone from the contact list puts up a status, it will be visible in the main chat list. All this while, whatsapp status updates were only available on the status tab. With the upcoming feature, if anyone from the contact list puts a status, it will be visible in the main chat list with a green outline around the display picture of the person.
