Corrections Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

At Seek4s.com, accuracy is central to everything we publish. Our readers — students, parents, teachers and job seekers — often rely on our articles for time-sensitive information such as examination dates, academic calendars, results, admission deadlines and recruitment notifications. We therefore take errors seriously and are committed to correcting them promptly and transparently.

1. Our Commitment

Despite our best efforts and our Fact-Checking Policy, mistakes can happen. When they do, we will acknowledge them openly, correct them as quickly as possible, and, where the error is significant, inform readers of what was changed.

2. Types of Changes

a) Corrections

A correction is made when we have published a factual error — for example, a wrong date, an incorrect fee amount, a misstated eligibility criterion, an incorrect name, a wrong link or a misquoted statement. Significant corrections will be noted at the end (or beginning) of the article with a short explanation, such as:

“Correction (October 22, 2026): An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated the last date for application as 10 November. The correct date is 15 November.”

b) Clarifications

A clarification is added when the original information was technically correct but could have been confusing or misleading, or lacked important context.

c) Updates

An update is made when new information becomes available after publication — for example, when an authority revises a schedule, announces results, or releases an official PDF. Updated articles will display a note such as “Updated on [date]”.

d) Minor Edits

Spelling, grammar, formatting or style corrections that do not change the meaning of the article may be made without a correction note.

3. How to Report an Error

If you find an error or outdated information on Seek4s.com, please email us at mail@zedoft.in with the subject line “Correction Request” and include:

  • The URL (link) of the article.
  • The specific statement or information you believe is incorrect.
  • The correct information, and if possible, a link to an official or reliable source supporting it.
  • Your name and contact details (optional, but helpful if we need clarification).

4. Our Review Process

  1. Acknowledgement: We aim to acknowledge correction requests within 48 hours.
  2. Verification: Our editorial team checks the claim against official sources and other reliable references.
  3. Action: If an error is confirmed, the article is corrected promptly — urgent, time-sensitive errors (dates, deadlines, fees) are prioritised and usually fixed the same day.
  4. Disclosure: A correction note is added for significant errors, and the “last updated” date is revised.
  5. Response: Where appropriate, we inform the person who reported the error of the outcome.

5. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not silently change significant facts without noting the correction.
  • We do not delete articles simply to hide mistakes. Articles are removed only in exceptional cases (for example, legal reasons, privacy concerns or content that is entirely inaccurate), and where appropriate we will explain the removal.
  • We do not change content based on requests that are not supported by evidence, or that are intended only to promote a person, product or organisation.

6. Takedown and Removal Requests

Requests to remove content for reasons such as copyright, privacy or defamation are reviewed separately on a case-by-case basis. Please email us with full details and supporting documents. We will respond in accordance with applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

7. Accountability

This policy applies to all content published on Seek4s.com, including articles, news updates, guides, reviews and social media posts shared by our official handles. Our editorial standards are further described in our Editorial Policy.
