Honour X9b 5G’s processor, memory, and battery were teased ahead of its launch in India

On February 15, the Honour X9b 5G, Honour Choice Watch, and Honour Choice X5 earphones will all go official in India. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has released several teasers ahead of the device’s official release, revealing important details like colour options and specifications. It has been confirmed that the Honour X9b 5 is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. It will have a 5,800mAh battery to power it. A few international markets currently offer the Honour 9Xb.

On Tuesday, February 6, Honour verified the features and colour options of the Honour X9b 5G via a press release. Its 5,800mAh battery is confirmed to power it, and according to the manufacturer, it can run the device for up to three days straight or 18 hours of continuous use, 12 hours of gaming, and up to 19 hours of video playback on a single charge. It is claimed that even after 1,000 charging cycles, it will still hold 80% of its capacity. Honour claims that DXOMark has awarded the X9b 5G smartphone the Gold battery designation.

Honor X9b 5G specs and other details

Battery: The Honour X9b 5G will run on a 5,800mAh battery with a 35-hour (or roughly three-day) rating. According to the brand, it can last for up to nine hours of nonstop music playback or eighteen hours of calls. Even after 1,000 charging cycles, it is reportedly still able to hold 80 percent of its total capacity. To put it another way, the performance could last for three years. For this, the phone has been certified Gold Label by DXOMark.

Design: This phone shares a round camera island on the back that looks like a watch dial with the Realme 12 Pro series. It is known as a “Classical Dual Ring Design” by HTecj. Orange and black will be the device’s launch colours. The vegan leather accents are mentioned by the company as being a feature of the design.

Memory: There will be two models of the phone: an 8GB+256GB model and a 12+256GB model. With the help of RAM Turbo virtual memory, the RAM can be increased to an incredible 20GB.

Processor: A Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip with four Cortex A78 performance cores running at 2.2 GHz and four Cortex A55 efficiency cores running at 1.8 GHz will power the phone.

Software:  on the device, MagicOS 7.2, is based on Android 13, according to Honour. A “clean bloatware-free user experience” is hinted at.
