The newest true wireless stereo (TWS) headset from the Chinese electronics company, Redmi Buds 5, has made its debut in India. They have a semi-in-ear design akin to AirPods and an active noise cancellation (ANC) feature that lowers outside noise by 46dB. The Redmi Buds 5 are said to have a battery life of up to 38 hours and come with 12.4mm dynamic drivers. The audio device has touch controls and supports pairing with two devices. The company claims that users can use their smartphone to find their earphones.

In India, the new Redmi Buds 5 cost Rs. 2,999. Their colour options are Fusion Black, Fusion Purple, and Fusion White. They will be on sale starting on February 20th through Xiaomi retail partners, Amazon, Flipkart, Mi Homes, and Mi.com.For a limited time, customers who buy Xiaomi Pad, Redmi Pad, or Redmi Note 13 series smartphones will be able to purchase the earphones for just Rs. 2,499, which is a discounted price.

It is stated that the hybrid ANC function can reduce ambient noise by 99.5 percent. With an oval-shaped charging case, the TWS earphones are in-ear headphones. A 480mAh battery is included in the charging case by the brand. In contrast, the earbuds have a 54mAh battery. The dimensions of the earbud are 29.52 x 21.44 x 23.45 mm, and the charging case is 61x50x24.60 mm. There are 42.47 grammes in weight for the earbuds with the charging case.
Even in windy conditions, the dual-channel AI algorithm can provide better call quality. For audio and voice calls, the earbuds can easily switch between two devices thanks to dual-device pairing.
