2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS Series launched ; Starts At Rs 1.05 Lakh

The price of Bajaj India’s new Pulsar NS Series models is now available. The Pulsar NS200, which has the largest displacement in the class, will now sell for Rs 1.57 lakh. The NS160 and NS125 are priced at Rs 1.46 lakh and Rs 1.05 lakh, respectively. All costs are ex-showroom. Every motorbike in the series gets a few extra features over the previous models in addition to minor visual changes.

The most noticeable modification is the new LED headlamps with sporty-looking turn signals and DRLs on every motorcycle. Apart from this, the motorcycles’ designs are identical to those of the earlier iterations. 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS series: Platform and design

The chassis of all three Pulsar NS motorcycles remains the same, and they are all built on the same basis. Next, let’s talk about the design. The Pulsar NS 160 and NS 200 have new headlights. They have new LED internals but share the same casing. The body panels and overall design stay the same except from this significant alteration.The Pulsar NS 125, the smallest model in the NS series, has an LED headlamp arrangement but keeps the same look as its larger siblings. The motorcycle does not, however, have the updated DRL configuration that the 160 and 200 have.

2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS series: Equipment and features

The new LCD digital instrument cluster, which offers phone connectivity and navigation, is the most significant feature change. The motorcycles still have most of the equipment and features from the older models, such as the disc brakes, 17-inch wheels, USD forks, and so forth.Simply the Pulsar NS 160 and NS 200 come with an instrument cluster that can be used for navigation and phone communication; the 2024 Bajaj NS 125 simply receives an LCD digital instrument cluster.

All three motorcycles have an air-cooled single-cylinder engine coupled to either a five- or six-speed transmission. The engines are kept in the powertrain.

Built on a perimeter frame, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 features a nitrox monoshock and an upside-down (USD) fork. It has two disc brakes: a 300mm disc brake up front and a 230mm disc brake along the back. The bike is equipped with a dual-channel ABS to improve stopping power on slick terrain. The tubeless tyres on the Pulsar NS200 have 100 sections up front and 13 sections in the back.With its 168mm of ground clearance, it can easily handle uneven roads and speed breakers. The fuel tank of the Pulsar NS200 holds 12 litres.

Colours

The colour options for the bike include Brooklyn Black, Pearl Metallic White, and Racing Red.

Key Features of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has LED headlights with matching LED DRls, an LED tail light, and traditional bulb indicators as part of its features. The revised model has turn-by-turn navigation, a completely digital LCD instrument console, and Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS notifications, phone battery and signal levels. Along with important data like speed, fuel level, odometer readings, and trip metre information, it also provides helpful readouts like a gear position indication, real-time mileage indicator, and distance-to-empty.

The motorcycles’ engines remain the same in terms of their powerplants. These include the Pulsar NS200’s 199.5 cc liquid-cooled engine, which produces 24.16 bhp and 18.74 Nm; the NS160’s 160.03 cc air-cooled engine, which produces 17.03 bhp and 14.6 Nm; and the NS125’s 124.45 cc air-cooled engine, which produces 11.82 horsepower and 11 Nm. While the other two versions have a 5-speed gearbox, the Pulsar NS200 has a 6-speed gearbox.

The tested real-world mileage of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is 40.84kmpl in the city and 40.36kmpl on the highway.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 competes against bikes like the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Honda Hornet 2.0. Apart from these, one can also look at slightly less expensive models like Hero XPulse 200T 4V and Hero Xtreme 200S 4V.
